This game prototype which I was working on in August of 2023 leverages a core mechanic adapted from an earlier project of mine called "Farzone", wherein each tile of the world is destructible.
Players would embody Darius, whose brother made a deal with the devil which went wrong. Darius gets a tip that "Hell can be found beneath the red lamppost", and the story begins there.
Darius Descent leverages PhaserJS, the Matter physics engine, and is written in TypeScript.
